Day 1 & 2 Ski Trip 2010

We flew into calgary around 9pm Mountain time and Julie & Will picked us up at the airport. We went to their house and spent the evening playing guitar and checking out Julie and Wills home theatre. They have an amazing home theatre with a 9 foot projected screen and 7.1 surround.
The next morning we relaxed for a bit and then picked up all the essentials for the trip. Wine, wine and wine. oh and food too.
Once we were ready to go we hit the road to Fairmont around 5:00pm and arrived at the resort about 9:00pm, checked in and cracked open the wine.
Not much to report on the trip out, it was dark so couldn’t see much. One thing that did stand out was the frost on the trees at Julie and Wills the morning we got up. It looked like crystalline structures clinging to the branches. Pictures are on facebook, couldn’t get them to show here for some reason.
